Tomato recipe...A colorfull appetizer !

The Infernal Tower

 

This an easy and nice appetizer, with cherry-red tomatoes , red pepper, tuna, cream cheese (philadelphia for exemple) pancakes, and raspberry vinegar (which give a wonderful color).

First you've got to finely cut cherry-red tomatoes and red pepper.

Then melt tuna, cream cheese and a once of raspberry vinegar. (You can put a once of pepper to grind and salt)

Put your pancakes in a saucepan.

Then put one by one pancakes, tuna and cheese cream and finally red tomatoe with red pepper.

If there's some red-cherry tomatoe and red pepper left, put it around your "Appetizer's tower"

HOT CAKE

 

This salt recipe, is one of my favorite : it's easy to do, even count 40 minutes in wave.

With this cake recipe you can serve it for a convivial and original appetizers or for lunch for example. To do this recipe, I use a Chorizo sausage.

What is chorizo ? Well, it's a sausage with pepper inside...Yahhh...It's hot, isn'it ??

I choose a Soft pepper chorizo (I don't dare pepper, but not my child ;-) )

Pie recipe…You will love this one Cheese and Ham

The 10 minutes Pie (no more!)

 

An easy pie recipe…You need pastry (Personally, I take a “ready made” pastry, In France they’re not very expensive, they’re quite well… it’s doesn’t worth to waste time to do your pastry yourself).

 

You also need cheese like “laughing cow”, single cream, 4 eggs, and ham (finely cut), and grated cheese.

 

Put “laughing cow” and single cream together into micro wave 1 minute, then mix when it’s hot.

 

Mix the 4 eggs with eventually nutmeg, salt, pepper. (Personally I add milk and single cream into eggs preparation…It’s better!)

 

When your egg preparation is ok, then melt with your “laughing cow”/single cream preparation.

 

Don’t forget to make holes with the fork into your pastry.

 

Put 25 minutes into your wave…And degust your pie.

 

(Don’t forget, that the grated cheese must be at the bottom of pie for a better baking).

 

Finished? I told you!! It only takes 10 minutes to do this pie? Doing a pie?? Too much easy! ;-)

The Two Zucchini recipe (in Verrines)

 

This is a verrines recipe an easy one, which children (and parents also) are literally fond of…

 

This verrines with 2 zucchini (green and yellow) is mix with St Moret cheese, ham and melon finely grated. For better taste I add some chive in cheese. (Mix Chive and cheese is a great idea!)

 

For parent’s Verrine: A little pepper above cheese with leave of mint…And you’ve got a spicy and fresh recipe with zucchini.

 

It’s a fresh recipe, and children like eat vegetable with cheese. The taste of this verrines is really excellent.

The summer salad

 

It's summer and verrines recipes are everywhere ! (in France). Put food into glasses, a bright idea! It's fresh, it is pretty, is greedy. I love the mixture of color and dare to small Follies!

 

For this salad recipe, I dared mixing red and green peppers and also yellow Zucchini, with the sweet taste of the melon.

 

For the sauce, a simple cream mixed with a once of grapefruit, mint, and black pepper and it is a poem !

 

To accompany this salad…I have dared to spoon feed, small chicken Ham with of the “St Moret” (a white French cheese, it’s like “the laughing cow” cheese) with chive-> Simple! But effective! I have even dared to stuff my effect cherry tomatoes, taste guaranteed! To decorate…2 small raspberries and your salad is nice and delicious!

Tomatoes...In the garden of Joann

This year…I’m lucky! …I’ve got tomatoes in my garden and they are huge!!! (600 g). I had to remove them because with the weight, the tutor bamboo literally broke.  So I have to cut them off, and let the sun finish growing them up. (Easy with the current heat).

 

 Last year, I had fertilized… And my tomatoes were not very beautiful (but notice I had more small tomatoes with fertilizer).

 

This year…I have moved my garden; now, it’s next my terrace. And I decided at the same time to not put fertilizer, I just want to do “Bio gardening this year” -> I only put my vegetable waste…cobs of apples for example…

 

And how say??? This year my feet of tomatoes are gigantic! Almost tomatoes trees…an improbable vegetable size .Irons tutors are still too small for these kind tomatoes!!  I’m really surprised; I don’t expect it this year! Next Year, I would think about let more space between each tomatoes plants.

Recipe cake...an original recipe of chocolate cake

Cute Hedgehog

 

Basically I wanted to test a "pop cakes" recipe…But I don’t know why…I didn’t managed, so I decided to realized this small and nice hedgehog…concerning the pop-cakes, they have broken literally up when I diving them in the chocolate sauce…(Heat, surely !, we are in alert heat in our region actually). But I don’t give up realizing soon (and succeed too) a great recipe of pop cakes. I therefore made this hedgehog, to the delight of children…Recipe simple and very fast to make just have to buy a “quatre quart cake”.

 

Nota bene: It can also achieve with Chocolate pate (that you can easy find in market)…But I find that it is unfortunately too fat (you’d better do a chocolate sauce on your own it’s always better for children).

The Rougail

 

I love this little sauce typically exotic, that I made with pepper, combava, ginger and of course tomatoes from my garden !

 

She awakens the taste buds, and must be dosed lighthly (but surly).

 

This sauce could  be served with meat, rice, sausage (Creole recipe) also named "carry".

Onion pie an easy pie to do !

 ONION TART

A simple and delicious pleasure my recipe of pie onion with “Comté” (an authentic cheese of Savoie in France). The onion pie is really better with a pinch of nutmeg, Flower salt.

 

This pie accompanied by a salad of "oak leaves» and a good wine bottle of “Côtes of Provence”…And it is simply delicious!

 

I love doing this easy pie, note that you’ve got to do this recipe in advance, the preparation take a long time. You can also propose this recipe for convivial appetizer; or for a family meal.

Beef recipe...A real convivial recipe for family weeks !

 Ginger Beef



Well I must recognize that I Love cooking recipes with Beef: First, because cooking beef always mean that there’s a convivial and familial week to come. And secondly, Beef is a noble meat, and easy to cook as well. For this beef recipe, I choose a little ginger sauce and a wine Pink for cooking. And then, I put some “Grenaille” potatoes with my beef, Why potatoes? Surely for their authenticity and also, it’s simply to cook these kinds of potatoes. Some salt and pepper...On it...And Hummm, it’s ready!!
